A passion for helping

As a mother, daughter of a Veteran, and lifelong San Diegan I have decades of experience serving my community.  I am dedicated to a prosperous, efficient, and healthy San Diego.  As a public servant, I managed a Veteran employment program, employment initiatives for members of the disabled/neurodiverse communities, assist small businesses in navigating the barriers to contracting with large public agencies in San Diego and community workshops to understand and engage community in identifying and implementing community-based solutions. I intend to expand mental health and drug addiction services to provide better solutions to those most impacted and create sustainable solutions for long term success; housing for families, single parents, and seniors while minimizing increased density in urban areas and improve the responsiveness and efficiency of the County’s delivery of services and resources to the residents of District 2 by creating a customer service model that will engage with residents directly by phone. I will be the voice of all District 2’s residents, working hand in hand with our communities to help San Diegans confront their daily challenges. Let’s prioritize community-focused solutions.
